Papa-Remo in Erding

I had food delivered today, as the food on site has always been very good until now. Unfortunately this was not the case today! 3 main courses for just under € 50 is a very steep price. Then if the quality of the food is not right, then it's just plain outrageous. The bacon / cheese burger had no cheese on it! Every McDonald's cheesburger tastes better. Very shoddy performance. I will not order here anymore!

Great restaurant. We recommend. The food is inexpensive and extremely tasty. All employees are very friendly and nice. One of my favorite restaurants 👍🏻

The food is very good and the cocktails excellent. Visits for happy hour are particularly recommended as a normal cocktail only costs 6 € and a non-alcoholic just 5 €. However, it is often quite full, which leads to longer waiting times for the food and you should make a reservation in advance.

When we arrived to collect our meal, they got the order slightly wrong, but wasn’t worth changing otherwise the rest would get cold. Annoyingly they didn’t take credit card, so was directed to a cash machine to withdraw cash. Pretty unusual they didn’t take card considering how busy it was, but has happened a few times in Germany. The food was pretty basic, and didn’t seem that different from a supermarket burrito pack that you would cook yourself and microwave rice. The nachos were soggy and burnt.

Very friendly service and excellent food. The portions are generous and the choice is large. We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately we live too far away, otherwise we would be regular guests at Papa Remo. But we will definitely come back on our next visit to Erding.

Have been to town to visit and haven't regretted eating here. Generous portions, tasty and incredibly nice service! Highly recommended!

If you ever had authentic Mexican or even Texmex then this place is not for you I do not recommend it. The fajitas did not have the peppers onions the flavor was not authentic and when it came out it was cold. The tortilla chips were old. There was no red salsa or cheese sauce served. The corona was not served with salt or even given an option. There was feta cheese and asian sweet and sour sauce served instead. The music was mostly from Spain. I give a star for service and atmosphere. I did not try the cocktails or other food but I probably will not be back.

And I want to draw your attention again to Section 13 of the BayIfSMV. Apparently you don't care and the threat of € 5000 is not enough. Next to us there was a table not 50cm away, at which guests were also seated. No difference to normal usage. Except the tent that is crammed with people in front of the shop. (See photo, no distance. The guests also squeeze past each other to get out of the toilet ... Without mask) I'm disappointed ... Also about the waiter who said everyone did it that way. There is no reason to do it that way.

Cash only in the 21st century, seriously? The food is boring, tastes like from any canteen, for example. You get boring fries and alibi vegetables with the meat platter. Is that what is meant by “Mecikanisch” in Erding?

It was just incredibly authentic Mexican. The food was really as good as in Mexico. Service was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant was well filled. Reservations are recommended. The negative was that it was a bit louder, but that didn't bother us. If I'm in the area again, I will love to stop by this restaurant.

Our first visit to Papa-Remo but definitely not the last, waitress TOP ... food super tasty ... cocktail tasty and strong .. So you can recommend everyone ... menu clearly explains what you get ... (for them who rarely go out for Mexican food :-)) WE WERE THREE DAYS LATER AGAIN & it was really tasty again and a great evening .. Including great cocktails ... See pictures :-)
